What's a Widget?
ESW has a concept we refer to as Widget Marketing. While a Widget is not a new term, it does serve a purpose in our marketing plan. To us a widget is any marketable object, goods, or service that everyone seems to want and use on a regular basis. whether fad or more functional, widgets are here to stay. For instance: pens, mugs, and letter openers with a company logo, business cards, caricature figurines and other similar consumer items do very well with an online internet store.

While at a local store the other day I noticed a group of figurines one of which was the popular M&M statue and was filled with candy. Imagine if you had a variety of widget figurines and wanted to place them on the web in a store front. Imagine sales in a global market place using the web as your sales person. Better yet, what if you did jewelry, printer cartridge's or any other cash “N” carry item. We can only begin to imagine what the sales volume would be if the concept is presented the right way.
